Platform and Lithography too.
Modulation is not relevant for AMD CPUs.
And TjMax is not information that's available, to the best of my knowledge, to software.

Re: [1.18.1] AMD EPYC 73F3 - BMC and CoreTemp report mismatch

Thank you. I got this fixed, will be added into the next release.
Until that is out, you can apply a -49 offset in Options --> Adjust Offsets.

Re: [1.18.1] AMD EPYC 73F3 - BMC and CoreTemp report mismatch

Hi,
Can you please attach a register dump (from the Tools menu) and I will take a look.
It appears that Core Temp does not take the -49 offset flag into consideration, as with -49 offset the temp would be on par with the board's BMC.

This means you have an older version running in the background, close\uninstall it and then try again.

Re: CoreTemp Grapher -- Too Many Cores

The grapher was developed in the dual-quad cores days.
It doesn't really have a way to limit the number of displayed cores.

Re: Minimized CoreTemp window appears together with overheat warning and Close button does not work

There are multiple ways of displaying a message box. If their message box isn't tied to a window, it will work just fine.

It is just a messagebox, which inherits the properties of its parent window. Therefore it can't be separately set to be always on top.

Re: Minimized CoreTemp window appears together with overheat warning and Close button does not work

I don't have XP anymore.
On my Win 2003 I can't reproduce this :(
But in general, I assume that it's just a Windows limitation.
You can't have a window without a taskbar button that shows a message box without the minimized window appearing too.

Re: Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen11 CPU Not Recognized

Nice to hear.
The gadget requires .NET 3.5 (as it's quite old)
You can install it from the Turn Windows features on or off settings window.

Re: Minimized CoreTemp window appears together with overheat warning and Close button does not work

What OS are you using? I can't reproduce this on Windows 10.
Did you set Core Temp to hide the taskbar button when minimized? If yes, try to change this setting and see if this makes a difference.

Re: Only 3 of 4 cores shows in windows taskbar

Click the small < arrow in the notification area, you should see the "missing" Core Temp icons there.
Drag one out and all should become visible again.

Can anyone please better explain what sort of flashing you are talking about? Maybe a screenshot or a short screen recording? Which OS are you using, which GPU (maybe related to gfx driver?) If possible, estimation when this issue started for you. It's probable that there's another program that some...

Re: Systray buttons settings

Technically it may be possible, but I don't want to over-complicate the systray area any more than it already is. You can chose separate colors for each reading.

Not sure I understand your second question.

Re: The dotnet dependency

It was designed for an Android app that allowed you to monitor Core Temp's reading from your phone or tablet, but the app was long discontinued, and recently Google removed it from the Play store.

Re: Suggestion - allow CoreTemp for non admin users

It may be technically possible, but it is not feasible.
Core Temp needs requires admin permissions for more than just loading the driver, it's also required for other functions.

Re: Suggestion - allow CoreTemp for non admin users

I'm not sure how useful that would be, you can find simple tools to monitor CPU and RAM without Core Temp if that's what you need. Having access to the driver is essential for a lot of its functionality, changing that now would probably require a lot more work than the gained benefit from such a cha...

Re: CoreTemp 1.18 Not showing core temperatures. Ryzen 5 7600X

Core Temp can currently only monitor the Tdie sensor on AMD CPUs, thus the layout for AMD CPUs is different from that of Intel.
The cores in the notification area all display the same reading.

Re: Negative Offset not Working Individual Cores

For AMD CPUs Core Temp only reports the Tdie temperature. It is not per-core temperature.
I recommend switching to use 1 temp per CPU in the settings.

Re: Negative Offset not Working Individual Cores

That's a bug, but I don't see any reason for this feature to be used today.
It was used back in the Core 2 days, where there was no reference from which to calculate the temperature.
Why do you think that you need to dial in an offset?
