67C is higher than average I believe. The highest I've seen it go is 71C on some chips, they were also some crazy clockers.

That is a decent TCaseMax (This is the correct term, I've also changed the name of the program to fix that mistake I've made).
Unless you have PC2700 RAM, why would you run your RAM at a divider?

Ram ?
Yeah ive had a major epic with my ram which all ill say is that its not alive
after a few too many volts.lol
Im using 2x512PC3200 and 2x256Mb PC2700, all old stuff which i had spare untill my OCZ PC4800 TCCD Plats and 2x512 Mushkin Redline Extreme arive.
Then ill just be troubled with what ram to actually use.
Ive had this 3800X2 at 2.7Ghz Dual Prime 12Hr+ Stable. I wasnt too sure how it compared to other E-4 Manchester core as i noticed the Toledo had a higher MaxTCase.

In simple terms, what does this mean in terms of overclocking? I read the description a few times and I still am not sure I understand the correlation between or the definitions of TCaseMax and TDP with respect to overclocking.

Is this right?
If you take the thermal rating of the CPU (TCaseMax) and subtract the ambient temperature, you get the temperature delta between the chip at its highest temperature rating and the air temperature. Then you divide that delta by the thermal resistance of the case to ambient in order to get the TDP. The TDP is then the highest power you can maintain with that particular chip's thermal resistance with a particular ambient temperature and that chip's particular TCaseMax. Thermal power is proportional to clock speed.
TDP = (TCaseMax - Ambient) / Thermal Resistance
So, if TCaseMax goes up, TDP goes up, and clock speeds can go up.
Also, if either ambient temperature or thermal resistance go down, TDP goes up and thus also clock speed may increase.
For anyone who knows more about this than me, feel free to correct anything I have misinterpreted as this is the first time I have seen any of this stuff.

Seems this would have good overclocking potential, but the problem is it runs fairly hot. It's prime stable (8 hours) up to 2550 with stock vcore, but 2600 fails the other core.
For my configuration I would have prefered something cooler, my day to day speed is 9*250 with 1.2 vcore.
