Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen11 CPU Not Recognized

Post by tadiis »

Speccy dump from this Laptop (.png attached) CPU Info. only.
When attempting to install Core Temp the message of 'Supported CPU Not Found"
Debug Dump gives only a zero-length dump file.

I disabled the entire VBS subsystem under Windows 11 Pro. as there was a CPU Access Violation from Speccy.
Any input would be appreciated.

Using V1.18.1 resolved the CPU recognition problem.
Now, when invoking the (latest) Core Temp Gadget an error message is generated: "Unable to Get Property."

This may be related to Lenovo Windows 11 Pro default install on the laptop. All the Memory Isolation/Virtualization and CPU Process restrictions have caused Speccy to BSOD when run.
I will start to disable some of these to see where the issue occurs.

Nice to hear.
The gadget requires .NET 3.5 (as it's quite old)
You can install it from the Turn Windows features on or off settings window.
