Feature Requeust - Core Voltage (VCore) reading

Post by yahfz »

Core temp has always been my go-to for ages. My main reason to use it is that its very light weight on resources and the fact that it opens EXTREMELY QUICKLY, I can't stress enough how good that is when rebooting and quickly opening apps to check your voltages. If you compare it to another monitoring software like HWinfo/CPU-Z, they take extremely long even on one of the fastest PCI-E 4.0 SSD on the market which is the SN850 I'm currently using.

My goal with this request is that it would literally eliminate me having to open Core Temp AND Cpu-z/Hwinfo to check Core Voltages. That's a HUGE quality of life improvement and I think a lot of other users would also really really appreciate that.

Core Temp displays the processor's VID.
Adding support for VCore would require supporting motherboards and the accompanying HW monitoring chipsets.
This is out of Core Temp's current scope.
