No Bold font for temps in Notification area?

Trying to set a Bold font fails - remains as Normal font and not bold. I think it does not matter which font, but I am trying Courier New for example.
Using Windows 10 Enterprise, 64-bit, Intel built-in GPU+AMD Radeon GPU, Intel Haswell platform.

Can this be fixed, please? Is it a bug, or limitation of the Notification area icons?

Thanks! As you can see in screenshot, the font I set is too thin - the digits are a bit hard to see due to this.

* Which font would you recommend & say looks best/"fattest" on Windows 10 OS, 4K monitor with 150% scaling (recommended by Windows)?
(Scaling does not seem to affect the Notification area icons, but listing it just in case.)

* Which font do you use yourself, on your main PC(s)/laptop?

EDIT: I used to use Fixedsys font before but it seems not too good on this setup/monitor. I tried Consolas now, looks pretty good.

I personally use the Tahoma font. It looks fine to me at 1440P.
