I am new to Core temp and have some question.

1. how do i no if over heating is occuring

2. I have AMD turion x2 and temp is around 60 when browsing at when gaming sometime go up to 90 is that ok?

1. Well, when the CPU gets warm/hot the color of the temperature should change color to orange (if you're using the 0.99.5.20 beta), when it's overheating and the PROCHOT signal activates, the temperature turns red.

2. 90C is a little bit high, it's still in the processor's allowed temperature range, but just. (Turions are rated upto 95-100C).
