Forums too narrow (horizontally) - please widen

The forums have big white bars/areas on the LEFT and right.
Can you please fix the PHPBB code to use all 100% of the web browser/view width, please?
OR at least 95% would be nice too.

If it matters - I am using a 2K Lenovo monitor at its native 2K (2560x1440 pixels) resolution. My browser is latest version of Google Chrome.

I did make it wide quite a while ago. This is how it looks on my 1440P monitor.

Try to clear your browser's cache. It works fine for me in Chrome.

Thanks but it turned out it is not any cookies or browser issue here!
I noticed there is a Delete cookies button at the bottom of the forums.
So I used that, which also logged me out of the forums. At once everything was OKay!
I then logged in again and at once it was broken, narrow again.
So, I thought it should be something with my forums account/settings.

Went to forums Control Panel, and found out switching the Theme works! One of your themes is OKay, the 2nd one - broken.
Try this on your PC.

Can you fix this, so both themes work fine, please?

Ah, I see now. You've been using the default forum theme.
I won't be changing it, as it will be reverted every time the forum software is updated.
It is the default behavior of the current theme too, but I decided to change it to match the behavior we had with the older forum software.

I am curious, how often is the forum software updated per year? Just 2-3 times, or 3-4+ times every year? Are such updates manual, or do they happen automatically?

Please note wider forums look much better on a 27", 1440p screen than the narrow forums view.

I'm not sure how often phpBB is updated.
The update is semi-automatic, you need to do it manually, but the process is mostly automatic, depending on how big of an update it is.
I think the previous time I updated the forum software was around 8-10 years, which is pretty bad. I'll try to keep the forum up to date from now on.
