How to disable auto webpage opening on startup?

Post by Mixman »

Hi, I have Core Temp installed. Everything works fine. The problem I have is that the Core Temp webpage opens everytime I startup the computer. It's so annoying. How to disable autoloading this webpage on startup? It concerns this address: https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp . Please, how to turn it off? I tried searching through the Registry, but to no avail, and I checked the system startup folders, but no luck there either...

What version of Core Temp are you using?
There is no code to automatically open a webpage in Core Temp. If a newer version exists, you'll get a notification asking if you want to update. Clicking yes on that notification will bring up the Core Temp home page.
If this happens automatically for you then there must be something other than Core Temp causing this.
Check the Startup tab in Task Manager, check the Startup folder in Windows, check Scheduled Tasks, registry startup options. I don't think I have any other suggestions.
