Incorrect CPU frequency

Post by weiliu »

Hi,
My notebook is MSI GX400 (or HEDY V98), The mainboard is MS-1435, OS: WINDOWS XP - SP3 (32bit), The cpu is INTEL T9600, default frequency is 2.8GHZ, I overclock it to 3.2GHZ (BIOS settings overclock 15% with software "System Control Manager"), The CPU-Z can show correct frequency and the performance is improved too, but CORETEMP 1.12.1 is still show 2.8G as screenshot below, Pls kindly help to revise this bug. thanks.

Core Temp does not poll the FSB by default. You can either press F5 to refresh it after you finish setting the OC, or you can enable active FSB polling by going to:
Options --> Settings --> Advanced --> check "On the fly FSB detection" --> press OK.
