Failed to load plugin

Post by computerstuff »

Just installed the latest Win 10 & updates to a new machine.

When I installed Core Temp 1.12.1 with the remote server I get the following error:

../pluginnetinterface-x64.dll Failed to load plugin.

And on another Win 10 machine where the remote server was working it has stopped working after the latest Windows update.

To fix that error, you need to install .Net 3.5. You can do it from the Control Panel, Windows Features.

Can't say why the remote server isn't working after a Windows update. You can test it locally by opening IE or FireFox (didn't test Edge, and it doesn't seem to work in Chrome)
And type in http://localhost:5200 (or whatever port you set the server at). It should connect and data will start to appear on screen.
If that doesn't work try changing the listening port in the plugins configuration.

Thanks, that worked perfectly.

I'm already a paid user for the remote version but I wanted to give you a small donation today for your excellent help & response.
