AMD Ryzen 7 1800x - Max Temp = 236ºC

When will the question of displaying the wrong temperature be solved already?
It's impossible to track how much the processor heats in real tasks

Just a small bug it can be ignored although very annoying.
On random occasion when I start up my computer Core Temp will read my CPU at over 200C So either it's a bit buggy or I have the most resilient CPU in the world!!! Gotta get overclocking when I have resistance like that!!
Joke aside I've got an image of it attached to this and I will be posting my specs as well like I said it can be annoyed although beforehand when I had temperature protection settings set it would cause my computer to turn off because it breached the 90C limit.

If you need any other information I'm glad to supply.

NOTE: Not sure if it would affect Core Temp but I am running triple monitor 5760x1080P resolution via Nvidia Surround.

I know that it has been a very long time since you guys posted this, but is it still an issue for you?
It should have been fixed in 1.12, but I can't reproduce it on my system to confirm one way or the other.

Still happening for me. Latest BIOS, CPU not overclocked (as I'm testing RAM at this point in time), same temp every time. I'm not running any other software so it could be related to Windows monitoring it somehow.

Tempted to write a plug-in for Core Temp to just dip the max if it's over 300f for now.

I just noticed this issue yesterday as well. I just put a new cooler on over the weekend and got the 1.13 update the first time booting it up. Then seeing this temp was a little scary Is there a fix?
