System tray icon disappears after suspend

I'm running Vista Ultimate SP1 on a new ASUS mobo with E8500. CT 0.99.3 starts from a scheduled task. (UAC is running.) If the system suspends, upon restart CT's process is running but the icon has disappeared from the tray. Attempting to start CT tells me that it's already running. The only way to recover control is to kill CT from the process list and start it again.
FWIW, the same thing happens to OpenVPN.
