e6850 680i

Post by Litlratt »

Core Temp .95 is showing inaccurate temps for an e6850 on my P5N32E-SLI mobo. This is with XP32 and/or Vista64.
Is a fix on the way?

Umm are you sure its inaccurate? PLease post a screen shot. chipset should not affect the temp read outs, you probably have a poorly calibrated chip.

You can capture just the active window by holding Alt while pressing PrintScreen. This will make a much smaller screenshot. You could also use crop, which even Windows paint offers...

Either way, what are the temps when you put some load on the chip like dual Prime95 or Orthos?

Yer CoreTemp does not appear to read the new "G0" chips intel has bought out.

My e6850 @ 3.8ghz shows up as 15-20 idle and 30-40 load.

Pretty much impossible since room temp is around 26.

New release comming soon?
