coretemp doesn't start up with windows 7

...the last few month it did..now it has changed its mind and doesnt wanna start with windows.
I cant' mark 'start coretemp with windows' option. Well i can mark it but when klick apply and then ok, it is unmarked again.

I 'uninstalled' it and downloaded another coretemp, same results...

Whats going on here?

Sounds like you might have an issue with the Task Scheduler service in your Windows install.
Core Temp relies on a scheduled task to start at user login, if the service isn't working Core Temp won't start automatically and you won't be able to apply this option in the settings.

i checked the task scheduler. It's disabled and i can't enable it.

Then this is a problem with Windows on your system, nothing I can do about it, sadly.

No problem mate, i fixed it yesterday.
The task scheduler has been disabled maybe by my anti virus or by an anti malware tool. Next startup the servive was not available.
I just had to turn it on again via registry...

Coretemp is running fine again.
