temp changes after app start

Post by arakasi »

I am using CT 1.0 RC4 and my problem occurs when I start Dataram RAMDisk (v4.2.0.RC18) app in my laptop with A4500 apu.
It is usually runs on average temperature around 40-45 °C on idle but just after starting the app mentioned above it instantly jumps about 50 °C higher without any impact on performance or air temperature near laptop fan. I had to shutdown overheating protection in CT because average temperature under load oscillate between 110-130 and my TjMax is set to 100 °C.

When I shut down ram disk app it still shows higher temperatures as they should be.

Edit: my version of CT is 1.0 RC5
Edit2: after waking up from hibernation correct values are displayed again

A screenshot showing the problem could probably help me understand what the cause is. My best guess right now is that the RAMDisk software did something which caused the CPU to report incorrect values from its registers.
