There has to be a way to change it to farenheit. It's useless as long as it's telling me celsius figures.

There is a way to change it to Fahrenheit.
Go to Options --> Settings --> Display --> Click 'Display temperatures in Fahrenheit' --> Click OK.

Clicking on "options" from the gadget on my desktop doesn't give me any option to change to farenheit.

You have to change it in Core Temp itself, not the gadget.

Thank you. WOW that option is buried! Could they bury it any deeper? I counted FIVE CLICKS to change this simple and common and very basic setting. Wow. It should just be under the options tab. Somebody needs to fix that. The American market is the largest market and the largest number of potential users, and we Americans want things in Fahrenheit, so if you want your program to be used by more people, it needs to default to Fahrenheit, or at least be easier to change to Fahrenheit.

Thanks, I'm aware of that.
Thing is CPU temp is almost always measured in Celsius, even in America. That is part of the reason why it isn't on the 'General' tab.
Even if it was, it would also only save you one click.

LOL, you don't need to change it every time! When you change it once, it stays that way.
And anyway, as The Coolest said, CPU temps are usually monitored in Celsius even in USA.
And no, the USA is not the only place on Earth that uses Core Temp, you are badly mistaken. :)
EDIT: Nice going with the user name! :D

Wow naki, I never said that the usa was the "only place on earth that uses core temp." You need to brush up on reading comprehension. Go back and see what I actually said. Since you completely misstated what I said, your claim that I'm "badly mistaken" is also nonsense.

Plus, the fact that you only need to change it once is not the point naki. How can they change it once if they can't find it because it's buried. Again, you are very good at missing the point.
