Core Tempt keeps uninstalling itself!

Postby columbia93 » Wed May 09, 2012 9:21 am

I've been using Core Temp for a long time but recently (in the past few days) it has begun uninstalling itself. I look over to the status bar and the temps are gone. I click on Core Temp in the "Start" menu and it says the shortcut points to something that no longer exists! I've reinstalled twice today and have been installing frequently since May 1st, when I downloaded 1236. I know that Kaspersky doesn't like it because your program is asking for information to be sent but, unless it is doing it on its own, I am not directing Kaspersky to reject it. Kaspersky does flag it 3 times as "dangerous activity" and "downloading a driver in a hidden manner".

I'm going to check for an earlier version. Please let me know if there is something else I need to provide to you.

Core Temp can't uninstall itself. There's probably some application that keeps killing/deleting the file.
