folder also opens at start-up

Every time I start my computer (windows7 32 bit) core temp (0.99.

starts with windows as I have it programmed to do. Strangely enough the folder for core temp also opens on thew desktop. How can I stop this from happening?

How did you setup Core Temp to start up with Windows?

It's in "start menu/all users"

You don't need to have have anything in your startup folder.
Just make sure that "Start with Windows" is checked in the program's settings.
