Postby bytebandit01 » Tue Nov 01, 2011 6:07 pm

just me being excited to use the next version of Core Temp.. and me willing to test future releases for bugs..

when can we expect RC3? or perhaps a nightly build or anything after RC2 that has already the bug fixes reported and solved ;) more power!

The next release will be out of Release Candidate and is going to be at 1.0 Final.
It should be ready soon, I would say around a week or so until I get all the final touches done.
I do not have nightly builds since I do not rebuild Core Temp every night, nor do I even get the chance to work on it every day so that would make this a little bit pointless.
I've never considered publishing "internal test builds" because they are very often specially tailored to test a certain issue which may not apply to 99% of the users.

Hi,
Any further update on the release of 1.0 Final?

I hope 1.0 Final will be coming out before the end of the year.

This version is almost ready. I'm also working on something new to be released along with it, so this is the reason for the delay.
There is still work to be done, I'm sorry that I haven't met the planned deadline.

Hmmm....a 'something new' teaser... :)

Look forward to it.

another suggestion would be to release 1.0 with the bugs that has been reported and fixed..

..and then release a 1.1 with the "something new" in it.. ;)

Indeed. I'd be happier with that personally.
