Core LoadHello
I would like to know how you measure Core Load and how you consider Hyper-threading. Thanks bye
Re: Core LoadCore load is measured by taking into account all the threads running on a specific physical core, 2 threads in the case of hyperthreading, and calculating the average value of each core. This is what's displayed on screen.

Re: Core LoadI have a sandy bridge cpu. Is the frequency a per-core feature or it is a cpu-wise feature?
Re: Core LoadEach core's frequency is independent.

Re: Core Loadso why is it displayed globally?
Core LoadCore Temp displays the highest frequency of all the cores in the CPU. If you want to to see all of the individual frequencies, press F3 when Core Temp is in focus.

Re: Core LoadInteresting. your software is really nice and is the most accurate of all the ones i have tried.
Re: Core LoadFor my cpu, in the system information there is line for each hypercore. Does The frequency really change per each hyperthread?
Could you update the rainmeter plugin for coretemp to read also these frequency per thread values? Thanks Bye
Re: Core LoadExternal software currently only have access to a single frequency value.
That's how Core Temp's shared memory block works, only displays the highest frequency. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team
