Intel Core i7 (Sandy Bridge) Model Bug

Hello,
I have installed the latest version of Core Temp (1.0): all fine, but the processor model isn't correct (and it doesn't exist...). I have a laptop with Intel Core i7-2630QM processor but CoreTemp displays it as Intel Core i7-2520QM. How can I solve this bug? Is anyone having my same problem?

Hi, please post a register dump (tools menu) here and I'll make sure that RC2 release will not have this issue.

I'm getting the same problem but with a Lynnfield Core i7 CPU. It reported the correct model until recently.
I have an Core i7 860, and its reported as a Core i7 850.

Did you lower the CPU multiplier limit to x20 in the BIOS?

Yes running 20 x 200Mhz FSB = 4000Mhz Overclock

Hmmm. This makes Core Temp calculate the incorrect CPU model.
I'll look for a solution for the next release.
