EVGA SR-2 Support?

Postby Rogy56 » Sun Jul 10, 2011 4:41 pm

I'm working on a fan controller which relies on CoreTemp to get the temperatures and regulate the Fan speeds based on the temperature (Obvious)

But there's a problem....

It appears that CoreTemp does not detect the CPU's correctly (detects only 1 CPU and only 4 cores)

Any chance you could get a screenshot and a register dump (tools menu) from that system?

How many "processors" does Windows detect? If all CPU's are active there should be 16 threads in Windows.
It seems like Core Temp just doesn't detect the second processor on that system.
Having a register dump would help me add proper detection code for the chip.
