Temps higher in 0.99.8 then they were using 0.99.5

Post by Maverick510 »

Version 0.99.5 showed my temps accurately, this new update has the temps reading 20-30 degrees hotter than every other sensor program I have. This was not the case with version 0.99.5. what gives? is there a major bug in this version? Piriform Speccy reports 33C on Idle but Core Temp reports Hi of 69C Avg of 67C?! That can't be correct, even my bios reports temps well below that.

these readings under 0.99.5 matched exactly across both programs & bios, Now you can see the major differences in temp readings here..

The problem is that you're not looking at the temperature in Core Temp, but the distance from TjMax.
Go to Settings --> Advanced and untick the "display distance to TjMax" option.
