99.6 bug

Hi just to say i have updated from 99.5 to 99.6 and the vid is now greyed out ( was ok before ) , this on an i7-930 D0 / gigabyte x58a-ud7 if it helps .

VID is not available for i7 processors. :roll:

Core i7 don't report VID value. This is not a bug.

ok so what was i seeing in 99.5 then , used to change between 40 & 130 watt depending on c state ?

You used to see TDP. This was removed since it was highly inaccurate - so pretty much useless.

This is a known bug in the new Core Temp, I'm working on getting it fixed.
