Re: Temps Inaccurate for Intel i5-661 ProcessorThere is no useful information in your post. It sounds like you're stating a fact. Why are you so positively sure that Core Temp is reporting inaccurate temperatures?
You could've written a little description of your system, cooling and what other means to measure temperatures you're comparing with. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team

Re: Temps Inaccurate for Intel i5-661 ProcessorMr. Coolest,
Thanks for your reply. I gave you MoBo and chip info. The cooling is stock Intel fan unit. OS is Win7, 64 bit. 4GB mem, no video card. In a cool garage, about 56 o F., here are system & CPU temps... From BIOS: System - 29 C / CPU 21 C From SiSoftware Sandra Lite: Board - 27 C / CPUs - 14-25 C From CoreTemp: 90-98 C The temps from CoreTemp are generally the same from two builds with same MoBo and chip. Thanks, Don Bell
