Driver failure in CoreTemp

Downloaded the latest version from web site and try to run on windows XP Pro PC.
Get the message: "Driver has failed to load. This Program will not continue."

By the way, an older version worked until September, 2009, then when tried about a week back got the same message. As a result, downloaded the new version.

The program has been allowed in my Firewall Online Armor. There has been no major changes in my system other than regular windows Updates.

How to find out what Driver it is talking about?

Anybody else facing the same problems? Any solutions?

This error means that either some software on your system prevented Core Temp from loading it's driver (the driver file is created at run-time).
Or your user doesn't have administrator privileges.

This is my home computer and I'm the only user-cum-Administrator!
Can You help me run some diagnostics to solve the problem?

Well, basically it could be your antivirus program that's blocking Core Temp from starting it's driver.
