Coretemp no longer showing the tempI am using the latest coretemp for 64bit win 7 and for some reason it is no longer reporting the temp. The bios interface deos report the temp and I am using other apps like gpu-z that does report the respective temps for the mobo hybrid gpu. My mobo is the Asus M4N82.
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempWhat do other apps say?
GPU-Z doesn't report CPU temp. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team

Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempI installed speedfan an it did not show anything either. I uninstalled win 7 and put on Linux and now I can get cpu temp readings. I was burning in my system... do you think the kernel could have got corrupted?
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempCan you post a screen shot and which cpu do you have?
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the temp
I reinstalled Win7. What it looked like was at the bottom where there is the temp reading it said "0C ?" I am using the Phenom II X4 3.2Ghz BE cpu.
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempCoretempdoes exactly the same thing for me. I am using the same 955 cpu on an Asus M4A785-M mb. I have not rebooted since initially running it, maybe that is the problem. It reports the speeds correctly, but 0 degrees C for the temp!

Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempTry another program and see if that works for you.
If that one doesn't work (shows 0C or whatever), it means the thermal sensor is disabled. It sometimes happens due to BIOS issues. I've seen people who's sensors stopped working after a BIOS update. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team

Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempI had the same problem. Only S&M showed the coretemp.
I solved the problem by disabling the 'Unleasehing mode' in bios. I got a Phenom x4 and as far as I understood there is no need to enable this option. This solved at least my problem. maybe yours too.
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempThat's right, "Unleash mode" and all the ACC tricks usually kill the temperature sensor.

Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempEveryone who noticed that Core Temp and other programs stop reporting CPU temperature should try to disable the ACC in the BIOS and see if that works for them.

Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempI recently started using Core Temp but I don't get a temp reading for each core. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit w/ AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core. What am I doing wrong?
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempPhenoms only have 1 sensor
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempWell that sucks. Any suggestions on how to monitor all four cores if it is possible?
Re: Coretemp no longer showing the tempIt's impossible, unfortunately.
