Shared Memory Error

Postby CoreTemp-User003 » Sun Jul 20, 2008 9:43 am

Hello.

I tried to use your .NET Framework 2.0 Dynamic Link Library...and I looked your demo project. However, it doesn't work. It gives me a Shared Memory error. Also, it gives me the same error when i try to run a C++ code.

Do you have any ideas how to make it go away? :)
Here's the configurations of computers, on which I tried to run those codes:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 / ASUS P5K Pro/ 2 Gb DDR II/ Windows Vista OS
Intel Core 2 Quad E6600 / ASUS P5K / 2 Gb DDR II/ Windows Vista OS
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 / ASUS P5B / 2 Gb DDR II/ Windows XP SP2 OS

What is the error that you're getting?
Did you make sure that you have the latest version of Core Temp?

This is the error i get:

Retrieving data from Core Temp failed.
More info:
Access to Core Temp's shared memory was denied.
Core Temp isn't running or does not support shared memory.

Core Temp (0.99.1) is working correctly, however the demo source code and DLL (C# and C++) isn't work.

I have no clue. I never had anyone (users who are using my Core Temp Addons, which are based on shared memory too nor other developers) report any issues with it.
Try running it on a different system or something.
