Option for 1.19.4

Post by Darrell263 »

Hello, I received a beta copy of 1.19.4 for my 9800x3d cpu not reading the FSB correctly.
It works great, but I am wondering when you release the 1.19.4 software, if you could add a option to display the cpu temp as 1 item, and then show the Freq for the 8 or how many cores you have like the 1.18.1 version

I much prefer the 1.18.1 display over the 1.19.4 display showing every temp of every core.

You can configure it all in Options --> Settings --> Notification Area.
You can set it to show the highest temp.
And you can configure it to also show the frequency, ram, etc.

No, that doesn't fix it.

i wish there was a way to upload pictures.
I am not talking about the notification area, I am talking about the actual program that displays on my screen.

here is a link to the pictures. It would be great to make the 1.19.4 look like the 1.18.1 as an option if possible.

Oh, I see.
That is currently not planned. You can right click on the frequency fields to see individual cores and select the specific core you want to see, or the highest frequency one.
It is a context menu, so will only be visible until you click elsewhere on your screen.

Well maybe in the next release then.
I'll continue to use 1.18.1 on my 7800x3d computer, and I'll use 1.19.4 on my 9800x3d. As I much prefer seeing the core mhz,

Greetings!

I'd like to request 1.19.4 version as well.
I have an Intel 265k, which isn't being recognized.

Thank you in advance and kind regards!

EDIT: Thank you The Coolest, I can confirm that it's working and is displaying the CPU model correctly now! :D
Looking forward to the full release!

Yes, it was an error in the build, it doesn't affect functionality.
You can download it again, I fixed the version.

Is any chance to get the CoreTemp Beta? i'm been using it for years and now i have update to the 9950X3D and now cannot see correct frequency and the correct VID...

I could help with dumps, crash reports and other things you needed.

EDIT: Thanks so much!

There's no ETA, there are still things that need to be done.
But as long as the current build works for you, it should be fine to use.
