Re: CoreTemp 1.18.1 BCLK reporting issue?

I'm seeing this as well, but only when using Windows 11.
When using Windows 10 everything is reported correctly.

I'm not as savvy with this as most of you are. I might have found a bug. I can't seem to get my paste to work in here. The program shows normal core temps under no load, but a highest temp of 167ish in the notification area. I'm sorry I can't paste images in here for some reason. Fahrenheit, not Celsius.

You can save a screenshot to a file (say with Paint) and then attach it when you create a post.
Instructions:
Select "Attachments" tab
Click on "Add files"
Find and select file to add
Once selected, I suggest clicking in the body of the forum post where you want the image posted and then click on "Place inline"

Ok. Lets try this again. I have the app open, showing my options and the notification area. The issue is the highest temperature shown in the notification area. I don't see that displayed in the app.

Ok, I have that set differently than I had in the previous version. I changed it to highest per processor, but it still shows a temp in the notification area that is not in the app when open.

I think that there's a "bug" in Intel with this new version, because Core Temp now looks at the "TjMax distance" too, and that may be the reason for the high temp in the tray.
Try changing it back to individual sensors and see if you can find the 167F one. Hover the mouse over it, you should see the sensor name in a tooltip.

I changed it to all cores. Now I get the actual core temp and the "TjMax distance" too of all cores.

Ok, that's what I thought.
This version is still a pre-release, not everything is finalized yet.
I'll update when I've got a new build to test.

I uploaded a new build (same URL). It should now remove the TjMax distance sensors.
So things should look OK in the tray.

Hello. I discovered an incorrect detection of the FSB bus speed in Windows 24H2 when CPU overclocking via the FSB bus. Motherboard Asrok B660 PG Reptide, CPU - Intel Core i5 12400. FSB in BIOS 127.5 MHz. I attach a dump and a screenshot. I see that test version 1.19 is available to someone here. I would also be glad to test it. Thanks for the great program.
