Core Temp 0.96.1 show incorrect temp E6850

until now I use Core Temp 0.95 for checking temprature of my Intel E6850 but today I download the lastest version which is Core Temp 0.96.1 .

now check this two photo which was taken at same time:

just check Core #0 and Core #1 to see the difference .

I use windows xp pro sp2.

now please tell me which version should I trust ? 0.95 (which is more like real temp) or new version 0.96.1 (which show cpu hotter by 15 degree difference) ?[/img]

Steppings G0, M0, L2, B3 are all Tj max 100c, you have G0 stepping. 0.95 is old and was incorrect.
