I also updated the build to fix the TDP field, it should be empty/disabled, so the 3 early testers can just redownload it from the same URL.

Interesting. The thing is AMD has mentioned that the X chips report temperature that requires a -20C offset, which Core Temp takes into consideration correctly. But they didn't really say anything about the non-X versions or whether they also require an offset or not. Thus Core Temp does not implement an offset for non-X CPUs. You can apply a -10C offset by going to Options -> Adjust offsets.

got a quick question @The Coolest . the temp reading is from the cpu (tdie) i never paid attention before on my old rig , but my readings are from it but below that on hwinfo it shows cpu at another temp . question is .. is that the way it should be ?

Supposedly the 1800x and 1700x have the +20 offset, the others don't have any offset.

Which software is right in randomlogin3.14's case is anybody's guess...

Maybe his "Hardware Monitor" is not reporting the right temps to start with.

I would only take HWInfo as the most reliable source. It matches the newest RyzenMaster and the newest AI Suite in my X370 Pro with BIOS 0604

HWInfo reports pretty much everything right. I have no idea how did they nailed it so good from day zero unless they got an early build.

So in this case he should measure with HW info and tell.

lol I lost myself the underlined areas on right cpu (tdie) matching coretemp and the motherboard cpu on the 2nd underline is 3* off or so . just wondering which 1 is the right temp tdie or the motherboard temp

The motherboard hardware monitor utility takes the CPU temperature from the CPU socket sensor, not from Tdie.
On X series CPUs Tdie = Tctl - 20 degrees offset, as far as I know.
On non-X CPUs , Tdie = Tctl.

Would it too much to ask for Fan sensors too in a future update?

I would love to switch back to CoreTemp provided the individual temps are visible in the future (also in the main window). But I grew found of HWInfo, not only because it reports many things but also the Fan speeds.

Would be great to have the Vcore too in CoreTemp. Not just the VID (which changes each time)

HWinfo is ok, but Coretemp uses as low as 0.1% CPU (HWinfo can use 0.5% to 1%)

Adding fan or vcore support would require adding support for all of the super-IO chips found on motherboards, there are currently no plans to add support for them.
Regarding voltages that can be read directly from the CPU, I only managed to get snippets of info I was missing to implement temperature and correct clock speed detection. So even though it looks like it's technically possible, I just don't have the information required to retrieve those values.

Well, I can still use Coretemp and open HWinfo only when I need to check on something. I don't wanna use them both and have an over 1.5% CPU usage just on sensors.

I just think is very useful to be able to see Fan speeds (while OCing you're always a bit paranoid about temps), I have them very low so they've virtually silent, it would be hard just by ear to know if one Fan has stopped because the BIOS decided to do so for some buggy reason. (not that is happening here, but)

The x version of Ryzen has an offset of +20C. For non x it has to be disabled in Bios. Its called "SenseMI Skew" at least in the Crosshair VI Hero bios. If you have it enabled you can adjust it with "SenseMI Offset" default 272.
There is another offset that can be changed at least in C6H bios but iv don't remember it. You have to look in http://www.overclock.net/t/1624603/rog- ... ing-thread to find it.
