Core Temp 1.5 Window

Post by harrygrower1 »

Is there a user reference to the Core Temp 1.5 Window? Most of it is self explanatory, but there are some elements that may require additional information - Tj.Max, VID. Also the layout needs some explanation - for example what is being measured under 'Load'

Many thanks

I don't think there's an official reference, but I can answer any question you may have. These things are relatively standard terms, and can also be googled.
Tj.Max stands for Tjunction Maximum temperature. This is the maximum temperature the cores are rated for, in Intel processors it's also the temperature where thermal throttling starts (in most cases).
VID stands for Voltage ID. It's not really the processor's vcore, but it's supposed to represent the value of the requested voltage by the processor from the motherboard.
Load measures the utilization of the processor cores.
