CoreTemp gadget and Windows 10 Anniversary update

Post by dyeman »

I just had to reinstall Windows 10 on a machine following the replacement of a dead motherboard. The installation process installed the Windows 10 Anniversary update. After this, the CoreTemp gadget no longer works - it displays a message 'Unable to get propert' over the partially displayed Gadget but gets no further. CoreTemp itself is fine and the other gadgets shipped with "GadgetsRevived" seem to work fine.

There is another report of perahaps related behaviour with other gadgets here : http://winaero.com/blog/desktop-gadgets ... indows-10/

Has anyone managed to get CoreTemp gadget working on the Win 10 Anniversary Update?
