After a month using Coretemp RC8 I look to VID in the gadget and see something odd. The reading was wrong.
My processor in idle is 1400MHz and VID is 0.8624V but in Cotemp it shows 1.2062V (wrong).
My screenshot of the CPU-Z and Coretemp:

Re: Coretemp RC8 FX6300 VID
Core Temp reads the VID value from the CPU directly. It doesn't always translate to the actual voltage applied to the CPU.

Re: Coretemp RC8 FX6300 VID
But, in the previous version the voltage steps always show the real readings.
There is a way to fix it?
I use this software and gadget for a long time. And it's very useful.

Re: Coretemp RC8 FX6300 VID
Please attach a register dump (Tools menu), and I will take a look.
Does VID ever change or is it at that specific value constantly?

Re: Coretemp RC8 FX6300 VID
I was also having the same problem where the VID voltage is showing far too high on my FX8320 after upgrading from RC6 to RC8.
Thank you Edmort1 for making this thread and submitting the bug report and thank you for fixing it, The Coolest.
