Coretemp and C0 state...

Does coretemp ever show a non-C0 state for anyone? I can't figure out if my machine never leaves the C0 state, or if Coretemp never changes that field.

This field isn't changing as the only way the CPU leaves C0, it goes into sleep mode, thus it can't be read.

I intend to replace this field with the amount of load on the core in the next version.

Makes sense... how is the current build coming along? Have you changed it since 0.95.3?

I'm still trying to figure out how to make it play well with both XP\2003 systems and Vista. It's either works on one or the other, but not both

...

But added new Intel CPU support and stepping recognition. Nothing major yet.

Are you opposed to having a 2k/XP version and a Vista version? I know there are lots of people out there who can't run 0.95 due to the crash who would love to have the 0.95.3 or .4 release as an OS-dependent app.

Actually, yes. It's a mess to have multiple versions. I'm working on getting this back to proper working order
