i7 CPU is not detected on Lenovo G50-80, Win8.1

Post by ddbug »

CoreTemp version 10.RC6 will not detect (or display) processor model & platform.
Both fields are blank.
However it displays correctly number of CPUs and temperature looks reasonable.

The actual CPU is i7 5500 dual core (according to Windows).
CPUID = 0x306D4
Machine: Lenovo laptop G50-80 with Windows 8.1 64-bit, preinstalled.

Regards,

Great news!

1) When is it coming?
2) What version and build number will it be?
3) Do you accept or need donations? :)
4) Will there be a need to update translations?

Due to my job - I repair laptops - I can test your program on lots of different platforms. New and old ones.
