This is bad, is'n it?

My computer (laptop) is running slow so I wanted to see if my core temp is high, but I do not know what this means. Here is the screan shot.

Your laptop is running at 800MHz because the CPU has Speedstep. It's a mechanism which lowers CPU's frequency and voltage to reduce power usage when the computer is idle.
60C is a little bit on the warm side for idle operation, but as long as it doesn't go over 80C full load you should be fine.
If you have a compressed air can or a compressor try cleaning out the heatsink-fan duct, it may be full with dust so the CPU cooling is not as efficient as it used to be.

laptop cooling thought

you could maybe try this cooler also if your laptop has a side vent. I haven't used it yet but am giving it to my sister for xmas and its getting pretty good reviews at the 'egg' http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834998465 if it works for her I will be gettin gone for my moms laptop.
