Intel Atom 230 (Diamondville). TJ.max shows: 125 c, core #0 shows 87 c in Core Temp 0.99.8.
Looking in BIOS the CPU temp is about 57 c.
Why this difference?
What is the real temp at the CPU
Re: What is the real temp at the CPU
Intel: TCASE 85.2°C
If TJmax is really 125°C then the temperature is too high.
The really TJmax is 90°C!

Re: What is the real temp at the CPU
Thanks for the link. Usefull.
It is Core Temp 0.99.8. that shows those values, and I don't believe them.
Now I have tried with the software HMonitor it shows 54 c at the same time as Core Temp shows 87 c. The 54 c is the same as shown in BIOS.
My conclusion is that Core Temp is useless, at least for my configuration.
