High CPU usage while browsing the internet

Postby poushma » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:07 am

How much cpu capacity should be used in browsing the internet? I look at task manager and it is around 65% used. This seems too high to me. I have a Pentium 4 CPU.

Re: Core Temp - FAQ

What does this have to do with the Core Temp FAQ?
Anyway 65% sounds a bit high, but it also depends on the type of content that you are looking at.
Flash based content will consume a lot of CPU time if your GPU doesn't have flash acceleration support.
