[feature request] Event log entry on shut down

Postby rhavern » Thu Jun 16, 2011 4:15 pm

Thanks for writing core temp, works a treat.

I have an unattended server running at home that has an issue with random overheating. Core temp allows me to gracefully shut down before the CPU simply powers the system instant off, brilliant. What would be useful to me would be an entry in the windows event log indicating that core temp initiated a shut down.

Many thanks!

Hi and welcome.
I've taken a look at how the event log works. And as far as I could tell it is not very trivial.
I'm sorry to say, but this feature will not be introduced into the upcoming release, but it will be considered for a future version.
