Core Temp LanguagesHello everyone.
I thought I'd make a place for users to post the translations they made for Core Temp and make them available to others immediately. It will also allow other translators to see whether a translation for a specific language has been made already so they don't have to spend time on something which has already been done. I have received a translation to the following languages, so there is no need to make one yourself: Greek, Hungarian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Italian, Polish.

Re: Core Temp LanguagesHello,
How can we install the translation in core temp ? Floréal.
Re: Core Temp LanguagesCreate a "languages" folder in Core Temp's folder, and put the .lng file in it.
Then restart Core Temp. In Options --> Settings you will find the language list, select the one you want and click OK. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team

Re: Core Temp LanguagesNo unfortunately greek words are longer than the english ones. For example core = πυρήνας about double letters.
I tried to do that during the fixes (wrong translations, english words left, but I couldn't shorten more words.) I couldn't find something better, sorry.
Re: Core Temp LanguagesI've added languages listed here to the website, they are under "More downloads...".

Just hope it's good enough. Updated translation, missed few things. And reuploaded whole translation

Re: Core Temp Languages@ sharin2001
That is awesome, thanks a lot. I've uploaded it to the website, and it will be included in the next version. Could you please change "Chinese" that is in English into the Chinese language equivalent, I'm trying to keep each language name in that actual language, thanks. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team

Re: Core Temp LanguagesI have updated the French translation.
Re: Core Temp LanguagesI have created Czech translation. But I am not sure what exactly means Logging in your software.
Re: Core Temp LanguagesLogging means creating a log file. It stores a list of readings that are saved to the file at the configured intervals.

Re: Core Temp LanguagesOk, everything is clear now. There is corrected version of Czech language.
I have a trouble. It does not save "Start Core Temp with Windows" to my PC. (Win 7 Home Premium, user with admin privileges)
Re: Core Temp LanguagesI attached the Korean translation.
Re: Core Temp LanguagesI want to make a translation, but not sure what tools to use?
Is it as simple as using Notepad, or is special software required?
Re: Core Temp LanguagesGo here http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ and look in More downloads. There is translation tool there, although you can use notepad as well.

Re: Core Temp Languages
Thanks! Some comments on the tool: 1) Tools/Settings-Customize do nothing, maybe they can be removed. 2) It should prompt to save changes on Exit, now it does not, thus edits can be lost. P. S. I see you used MS .NET/WinForms to write the tool - nice! Comments on Simplified Chinese: Please change the wording of "Chinese" in the Options (from English, as it is now), to this in the next build: 简体中文 (it means "Simplified Chinese" in Simplified Chinese.) Comments on Russian translation: There are glaring errors in it, I will update this post with suggestions for better wording later... Extra comments: I believe "Japanese" should be in Japanese too. Like this: 日本語 (according to Google Translate and Wikipedia)
Re: Core Temp LanguagesAlso, the Translation tool Readme file seems to mention 'Translation Credits' entry - where is that? Can't find it.
EDIT: It seems the Entry is missing, because I am using the Russian translation as a base for my own translation, and that entry isn't there, because the Russian translator chose not to add it... How to add it manually?
Re: Core Temp LanguagesThank you for the feedback.
Add the following to the IDD_ABOUTBOX part of the language file:
Done.
If this is simple enough to implement, I'll add this function.
Done and done. Thanks for the heads up on this.
I'd appreciate it if you could help me with that as well. Feel free to fix it up and upload here. Member of our O/C Folding @ Home team
