Different core temperatures

The readings of CoreTemp on my laptop's CPU (AMD Turion X2 TL-64) are significantly different between the 2 cores. Core #0 reads around 41-43C at load close to zero, and up to 50-51 at loads of 60-80%. Core #1 hovers around 49-50C at no load, and up to 61C at loads of 60-80%. There is a constant temperature differential of approx 8-9C between the readings of the two cores. Is this any cause for concern?

This is a known problem with older AMD processors, you can just ignore the lower temperature or apply an offset to that lower temp core from the Options menu.

So it's the higher temp that is the true one?

That's funny. My other laptop with a Turion TL-50 and my desktop with an Athlon X2 4400 don't exhibit this behavior - both temps are very close.

It's really hard to say which one of them is the more accurate reading, but if you assume the higher one is true then you'll be able to keep it cool enough.
