Hi.

I've got some problems lately, with my laptop overheating. Idle temperature is around 57 to 60 degrees celcius. System fan start at 59 degrees. Max temperature reached during gaming is 97 degrees celcius. Are these temperature normal? The computer is a Packard Bell Ml-61, with ATI Radeon HD 3470 Graphics. When i'm gaming for some hours, for an example when i'm at a LAN, the computer suddenly shuts down. Sometimes, it shuts down after like ten minutes of gaming. Very annoying :(

If anyone has some advices or info, I would love to hear them.

Thanks!

If you can see the CPU reach 97C that's bad.
Practically every current processor has thermal protection built in, where the processor will hard-shut down when it reaches a critical temperature.
You start by cleaning the fan ducts, you can use a can of compressed air for that.
