AMD and Intel Display

Postby Raptor5866 » Wed Aug 16, 2017 3:39 pm

Hi All,

Is there a way to switch the display in coretemp so it displays the cores not the frequency ? I have an AMD FX-8370 8-core processor and I can only see the one core temp and a whole list of frequencies.

Thx

You can't, because AMD CPUs only have 1 thermal sensor (reported to software) per die. This is why the layout for AMD processors is different than Intel, it is because there is no point in displaying the same temperature 8 times over.
