Redlining When Playing a Golf Sim!!!

Post by spy88 »

Hi gang!

Getting right to it, my TjMax is 100 C. When I'm online, Core 0 runs 47C up/down 2C with Min/Max @ 46-66C, Load @ 2-5% and Core 1 runs 50C up/down 2C with Min/Max @ 46-62C, Load @ 0%.

As soon as I open my golf sim game (a Steam game), CT hits Yellow and as soon as I start play, it hits red and I get a notification. I've included 3 screen shots for you to use if it helps with my comps specs. Need more? Let me know.
My question is, what can I do to keep my comp safe? Any/all suggestions appreciated and thank you to all for any help!

I know that this reply is probably coming too late, but here goes.
I see no screenshots, but when you're hitting red in Core Temp, that means that your cooling solution is not up to the task.
If it's a desktop, maybe the CPU fan has died or the heatsink is mounted incorrectly.
If it's a laptop, then perhaps the cooler is clogged with dust and it has lost its effectiveness.
