AMD Quad-Core A8-4555M / Windows 8.1 / X64

Postby ppzg » Thu Aug 21, 2014 8:22 pm

I installed Core Temp program (both 64bit that 32 one edition) on my HP notebook X64 AMD Quad-Core A8-4555M, MS Windows 8.1 but Core Temp application doesn't show the cores temperatures (it shows always "0 - 0" of first core only). I read the FAQ but I didn't find a solution for my problem. Someone can kindly explain me what must I do to execute correctly such program on my notebook?

Many thanks

Try to load a demanding application, such as a CPU benchmark and see if the temperature goes up.
In essence the thermal sensors Core Temp uses in AMD CPUs aren't very good.
