Email or SMS Alerts

Although I found it very easy to setup the CoreTemp Monitor Lite, I would wonder if either the program or the Android App could provide an alert should temps go on the rise or beyond a certain range.

I apologize for the late reply.
There is currently no such option in the app, but on the other hand you can configure the overheating protection in Core Temp to send you an email or some other sort of notification.

Apologies, how would one configure the overheating protection to send an email? I confess, I have no idea how to configure that setting. Could someone please enlighten me?

You would have to create some sort of script or make a simple program to send out the email. Then you use the 'execute program' portion of the overheat protection dialog to run it.

Thought so. I just assumed someone on the forum had a quick fix for me.
