core temp 1.0 RC5 sample image.png
Not long ago I visited the http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ website to download "Core Temp 1.0 RC5.
On the website I noticed the sample image of Core Temp, so I expected the application to display a similar
window. After downloading Core Temp and running it on my computer platform the Core Temp window displayed
no termperatures. At First I was puzzled. Then I found the menu item "Tools->System Information", which DOES
display the individual core information and frequencies.

I was hoping to display all 8 core temperatures in a single Core Temp window... but with my FX-8350 and the
motherboard I use, it appears I'm forced to have the main Core Temp window up, as well as the additional
"System Information" window. Also the latter wnidow has scroll bars (I can't resize it to show all 8 cores at once).

Is there a way to get all 8 core temps of my FX-8350 displayed in a single window, such as shown in the sample
image from your website?

Thanks in advance.

The inner workings of AMD and Intel processors are different. The AMD chips only have a single thermal sensor, thus there's no benefit to displaying temperatures separately for each core since the values will be the same.
In Intel CPUs, each core has its own dedicated thermal sensor, and that is why you can see the temperature of each core separately.
