CPU temperature

Post by geetaley »

Does anyone know any tips to decrease the CPU temperature except from changing the CPU cooling fan? I changed my cpu cooling fan yesterday but after that the CPU's temperature is too high (67 degrees minimum). When it is overloaded (above 95 degrees) the PC restarts. Also I have to mention that the PC is in a non-aircondtioned room and is summer!

What CPU do you have? What cooler did you install?
It really sounds like you either didn't install the new cooler correctly, or didn't clean the CPU and apply the proper amount of thermal paste before installing the new cooler.
